Delete Your Account
Deleting your account removes the server-side data linked to it. Here is exactly how it works.

How to request deletion
Email support@kignit.online with the subject "Delete my account", sent from the email address on your Kignit account (for Apple or Google sign-in, the email associated with that sign-in). We will confirm the request and delete the account. An in-app deletion flow is planned; until it ships, this email process is the way to delete your account.
What deletion removes
- Your account record (email, display name).
- Your song-analysis records, including chord results and their metadata. Uploaded audio itself is already gone: it is deleted right after each analysis.
- Subscription entitlement records and analysis credit records linked to your account.
What deletion does not do
- It does not cancel a subscription. Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Cancel in iOS Settings, your name, Subscriptions, or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions, ideally before requesting deletion.
- It does not remove data stored on your device: learning progress, settings, imported songs, and saved chord charts stay on the device until you delete them in the app or uninstall the app.
- It does not remove your device backups (for example iCloud), which you control through Apple.
Legally required retention
If specific records must be kept by law, we keep only those records for only as long as required, and we tell you in our response what was kept and why.
If something goes wrong
No response within a reasonable time, or trouble sending the request? Contact support@kignit.online and we will sort it out.
